It’s that time of year again to say thank you so much to everyone for another fabulous year in both my Physio Clinic and Pilates Studio. The year seems to have whizzed past at an alarming rate but I guess time flies when you’re having fun. I’ve been really happy to welcome so many new faces for Physio, Pilates, Sports Massage, Gait Analysis and Orthotics during the year. Furthermore, I feel proud to have built up a regular client base who continue to come to Pilates classes and see me for Physiotherapy and Sports Massage. Thank you to everyone for your business!
There have been a few developments this year with extra Pilates classes starting and I’m pleased to be able to offer 6 classes a week which are becoming more popular all the time. The new credit card machine means everyone can now pay by card for Physio and Pilates which makes life that bit easier not having to remember cash. I’m also in the process of planning a new online Pilates class booking and payment system which will be accessed via the website early next year. This will allow everyone to book and pay online for classes quickly and easily without having to contact me directly.
Outside of clinic this year I provided Sports Physio services at several sporting
events including CrossFit and running competitions and worked with many fantastic athletes over the year. There were no serious injuries in any of the events I covered so that was a bonus. Next year I have several events that I am working at including ‘Fitness By the Fells’ in January and an International Wrestling event in April which I’m really looking forward to.
In addition to working life I have recovered really well from my second shoulder surgery which put me off work for a month back in April. Many thanks for your understanding, especially to my Pilates crew who all came back to classes as soon as I was back in action. My shoulder rehabilitation has been a total success and a lot of you who follow my social media will be aware I’m training for my first Powerlifting competition in January. I’ve been in the gym 5 days per week for 12 weeks now and there’s just a few short weeks left to go until the big day. I’m really nervous but excited all at the same time. I’m competing with Carlisle Powerlifting Club who are all travelling down to Liverpool for the weekend so it should be a blast.
So all in all its been another great year. I’m grateful for all your support by recommending me to your friends and family, by supporting me on social media and for being a great bunch of people to work with. I truly am very fortunate and thoroughly enjoy running a successful little business with you all involved.
I hope you all have a lovely time and are ready to go again in 2018. We are closed for Christmas holidays from Wednesday 20th until Wednesday 3rd January 2018 and I look forward to seeing you all then. Take care and all the very best.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Mary the Physio 🙂
